Le président Tshisekedi affirme avoir dit aux évêques catholiques et protestants, qui tentent d'assurer une médiation dans la crise, qu'il n'y aura pas de dialogue avec le M 23 qu'il a encore qualifié de « pantin ».

Ce serait nous humilier, a-t-il déclaré, même s'il a reconnu que les forces armées de la RDC, sur lesquelles il compte pour inverser la dynamique sur le terrain, sont trahies de l'Intérieur, selon lui. Et d'ajouter que tous ceux qui sont chargés de les encadrer ont pris de l'argent, soit ils n'ont pas fait parvenir celui qui devait arriver à nos forces.

Félix Tshisekedi a révélé qu'il est même arrivé aux troupes engagées au front de se retrouver « pendant une semaine sans commandement et sans ravitaillement ». Mais c'est fini, a déclaré le président congolais qui a promis une refonte totale de l'armée qui devrait être professionnelle et bien plus en charge.

Côté politique, le président envisage la formation d'un gouvernement d'union nationale. Mais bien avant, il compte opérer des changements dans la direction de l'union sacrée. Sa majorité qui l'a défié avec un manque de réactivité politique face aux défis sécuritaires.

De son côté, le ministre des Affaires étrangères rwandais accuse, sur le réseau social X, le président Tshisekedi de tenir un double langage à propos d'une négociation avec le M23.

The order to search and capture of a Rwandan general for genocide and killing four Spaniards. The National Court magistrate José Luis Calama has ordered the search and capture of Kayumba Nyamwasa, a general and former head of Rwanda's secret services, who is under investigation for terrorism, torture, genocide and crimes against humanity.
