Five days ago, the United States Department of Justice began releasing further information from the Jeffrey Epstein files, revealing that President Donald Trump had a particularly close relationship with the man, and that the American leader allegedly had a predilection for young girls and touched them in private areas.

The new information is contained in nearly 8,000 newly released pages from the Epstein files, published on the US Department of Justice website on 23 December 2025.

The origins of Yoweri Museveni have long been a source of controversy, with many conflicting accounts circulating about his place of birth and true nationality. What is publicly known is that he is the President of Uganda, which implies Ugandan nationality by birth. However, it is possible that there are other truths that have rarely been openly discussed.

People who claim to know him well insist that the narratives surrounding his origins are not mere rumours. On one occasion, Museveni stated that he was born at Mbarara Hospital, while also claiming that he did not know his exact date of birth. This was said in April 1992, but he later changed his account, stating that he was born in Ntungamo rather than Mbarara. These contradictions created confusion, with many questioning how an individual could be unaware of such fundamental details of their birth.
