PRETORIA, South Africa -- Burundi's Dynamo BC have forfeited their Basketball Africa League game against FUS Rabat, set to be played Sunday, in the wake of the Burundian side's refusal to display tournament sponsor Visit Rwanda's logo.

Dynamo had blacked out the logo on their jerseys with tape for their opening game against Cape Town Tigers the night before. Dynamo went on to win the game, and in the aftermath Dynamo players declined to delve into detail about the protest, although guard Dhieu Deing confirmed to ESPN that it was related to the political conflict.

Ce Dimanche 10 mars 2024,en Afrique du Sud un autre Sénégalais, Amadou Gallo Fall vient de faire éclater un scandale dû à son statut de corrompu par le Dictateur Paul Kagame du Rwanda. Décidément, ces intellos de L'Afrique Occidentale ( encore ) Française: AOF,  n'ont pas fini d'étonner le Monde!

Visiblement corrompu par le dictateur du Rwanda Paul Kagame , le président de la BAL , le petit sénégalais ( 1m50) Amadou Gallo Fall vient de faire éclater un scandale en Afrique du Sud. Il vient en effet de déclarer l'équipe DYNAMO du Burundi battue par forfait pour le reste des matchs, sous prétexte que les joueurs refusent de porter une marque de publicité de Paul Kagame mais insultante pour le Burundi.

Finalement c'est la FEBABU et le Burundi entier qui en sortent honorés et dignes face à ces pratiques mafieuses injectées par le dictateur Kagame dans le Sport africain.

1. DYNAMO a persisté pour ne pas porter un maillot avec l'infame mention et a donc joué vendredi 09/3 contre Cap Town son 1er Match sans. Et il a gagné. Donc match validé:

2. S'il ne peut plus jouer les matchs suivants, par sa volonté , c'est son choix car il en a le droit. S il est sanctionné, il pourrait faire appel devant les Instances Judiciaires du Sort mondial et il gagnerait haut la main car les règlements sont clairs: " Seuls les officiels de la Fédération( arbitres, commissaires de matchs, et s'il le faut le public à admettre...) ayant signé un contrat avec un  sponsor sont obligés de porter les marques de ce sponsor. Mais une équipe n'étant pas directement sponsorisée par ce sponsor n'est pas obligée de porter ses marques. Or la honteuse et provocante marque de Kagame constitue une insulte à l'Etat burundais et à ses citoyens, Ses équipes sont donc en droit de refuser de la porter.

3. C'est comme si une Fédération quelconque demanderait à une équipe de Palestiniens de porter le maillot avec la marque: " Détruisez Gaza et tuez ses habitants!"

Aucun sportif palestinien ni même arabe, n'accepterait cet affront. Il en est de même pour DYNAMO du Burundi.

Rwanda's ruling party on Saturday picked President Paul Kagame as its candidate for the July election, teeing up a contest widely expected to return the longtime leader to office for a fourth seven-year term.

The 66-year-old has ruled over the landlocked African nation with an iron fist for decades and won the presidency in elections in 2003, 2010 and 2017 – with more than 90 percent of the vote.

Kagame's candidacy was unopposed during the Rwandan Patriotic Front congress that ended Saturday, the party said. 

Kagame's only known challenger in the July polls is opposition Green Party leader Frank Habineza. 

The 47-year-old member of parliament secured only 0.45 percent of the ballot in the 2017 election, coming third in polls that rights groups criticised for irregularities and voter intimidation.

The other potential challenger to Kagame, Victoire Ingabire, leader of the unregistered Dalfa Umurunzi (Development And Liberty For All) movement, is blocked from the presidential race due to a past conviction.

A court decision on whether she will be allowed to contest the presidency is set for March 13.

Rwanda will hold presidential and parliamentary polls on July 15 after the government decided last year to synchronise the dates for the votes.

Twenty-four women MPs, two youth representatives and a representative for disabled Rwandans will be chosen by electoral colleges and committees on July 16.

Candidates will be allowed to campaign from June 22 until July 12, according to the election calendar.

While Rwanda lays claim to being one of the most stable countries in Africa, rights groups accuse Kagame of ruling in a climate of fear that stifles dissent and free speech.
